What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a meridian energy based therapy.
It involves tapping on accupressure points around the body whilst using phrases which come from
you the client and relate to the issue causing concern.
In this way different emotional states can be managed and connections between life events and emotions can be improved.
A real benefit of EFT is that with some guidance and practice it can be learnt so that you can practice it on yourself.
So this is an investment in your wellbeing. It really uses the mind/body connection

How does EFT work?
Based in Chinese medicine, imbalances in the energy flow of the body produce emotional and physical problems. Using affirmations and tapping releases the emotional blockages that occur in the system, thereby promoting wellbeing. It also helps the body activate it’s own healing abilities.
This technique is particularly useful for traumatic memories which cause certain feelings to arise. We can work on the feelings, the cause and reduce the extent of the emotional charge. It can be used in every day life to deal with anger, stress, fear or other emotions which may be causing you difficulty. As such, it is a useful tool to have at your disposal.
